“A designer’s brain is capable of much more than making things look pretty.”
Hello! I am a graphic designer living in Austin, Texas. After graduating from Texas State University with a degree in Advertising and a minor in Communication Design in 2007, I joined the rest of the graduate job-seekers with quite a few let downs. I immediately started taking on freelance projects and contract jobs and ever since, have developed into a successful self-starter. I currently work full time with Ker & Downey, a luxury tour operator, as the company’s sole graphic designer and art director of Quest Magazine. In 2017, I traveled around the world for a year with Remote Year while designing 40 hours a week. I lived in 10 different countries, spanning 3 continents, starting in Mexico City and ending in Kyoto, Japan.
I’m passionate about working with nonprofits, small businesses, and have 8 years of experience in the luxury travel industry. I’ve worked for a PR Agency designing signs for protests all the way to boxing websites. Over the past 12 years in the design world, I’ve worked on a variety of projects and am looking to continue my growth and become an Art Director.
When I’m off the computer, I hit the trails or the boxing gym. Health and fitness is the motivation behind my creativity and work/life balance.
